A quick Question if I may....

Comparing your old dyno plots
1) Dated May 2011
Image
2) dated October 2014
Image

Was this the effect of cams alone or any other major engine changes?

Main thing is the side feed inlet manifold and the tubilar exhaust manifold. The rest is the same

It's interesting that you have lost 50 lb/ft of peak torque and around 1000rpm of spool! Yet gained little bhp but do now have a very nice smooth torque curve.

It appears that the second run was probably also done in 3rd?

Maybe you are simply running less boost in the mid-range now?

It's probably nicer/easier to drive now but I can't help thinking that for hillclimb the earlier shot of torque would be quicker?

ok so not shore were I got upto with the build but iv had to have a new block built as I had managed to over hone the block and when at idle the engine was not happy and was smoking witch after a strip back down we found the bore to be out of shape :( so now were are doing a full short block rev3 rebuid to go with my rebuilt 185 head, witch is now running under bucket shims.

few photos of the build so far
