Am i correct in thinking that its possible to buy rubber compounds in order to make your own rubber bushes etc?
I have a diff mount i would like to have a go at but could do with some guidance on the rubber compounds etc.....

If you do some research on 'shore hardness' you will find some info, I can't remember whether it is A or C that you need but one is much harder than the other and totally inappropriate for vehicle bushes.

Having just typed that out I just realised that you are asking about rubber bushes. You can definitely buy stuff to make polyurethane bushes - not sure really how actual rubber bushes are made.

This place seems to be used by many profesionals for industrial use. Very helpful to deal with.

Another option is to weld some metal bits to make the rear diff mount solid. A few companies make a poly rear diff mount, and I have seen 185 owners buy kits that allow them to make their own poly engine mounts and rear diff mounts.
