Looks brilliant; I'm after a new flexi section and had a few quotes from £150-£350 so a well made and good quality flexi go down a treat with the GT4 boys surely?? As I'm pretty sure the likes of blueflame, scorpion,Japspeed etc have flexi's that won't fit the standard system?

well i would think so and thats one of the reasons i am putting it up to to see what interest we can get as seen as there is such a lack of options for us.

with regards to the japspeed i dont know as i personally wouldnt ever touch anything they make but with regards to blueflame i though that they were the same as the mongoose and that went all the way back to the downpipe/ cat?

if there is interest he will start making them though and although it is alot of money, the quality of workmanship and fit speaks for itself i feel

Definatley so; it does look like a fantastic bit of kit! but as with all things its popularity will be governed by its cost, It would be brilliant if you could get a price for us :-)

right chaps, we are looking at £350 for it.

i know not the cheapest but then quality isnt cheap.

if there is interest and many people want them then the price i imagine would be coming down but for the odd one or two with the time involved to make it perfect the price is a reflection of the quality and workmanship

thanks for getting back on the price as you said its not cheap but as can be seen the quality is second to none and in comparison to an un-treated Aussie mid pipe will last a lot longer.

Could it be worth discussing a group buy? I'm sure there would be take up on the OC' if the price was adjusted slightly for numbers?

Cheers

George

No problemo! I'll start a list and see what we get :-) It might help in the mean time if you could go back to Tim and ask for prices (I understand we can't be 100% on figures) for say 1-5 people, 5-10 etc?

Cheers

George

right mate, some good and some bad news on the front.

tim has said that due to the tim involved making it fit right he was looking at the £380 for a one off to make it worth the time.

he has said however for 5 he would bring the price down to £350.

sorry on the lack of the price decrease but he did have to do alot of work to make it fit perfectly by hand and that.

but i can say they are worth the money without shadow of a doubt if people can afford it

yeah its a superb bit of kit, i know one or two people are like " oooo well its not machine bent" or all this rubbish like that, but really, its a superb made kit, good stuff that i managed to get him to do it as a one off.

i know bronzie seemed to of mistaken this pipe i got made up for the old downpipes that tbdev used to do and said he has the "original" not really when its not the same pipe.

what does the C-one look and sound like?

bizzarly the exhaust does sound slightly different with the new pipe to what it did with the aussie on.

when i get her running perfectly in a few weeks i might take it down to see what its running.. been a long while since then and will be able to see how well shes going.

haha, get the thing on the car!!! :) and pictures in order to i think of that beasty.

is it a full system the c-one system turbo to bumper?

i have mine setup with

Aussie ceramic coated downpipe
TBDev mid / flexi pipes
Blitz Nur Spec-R

the only one problem i have with the car is i do alot of track when i can and the damn thing comes in on a static test at a whopping 103.8db!!?!

sounds cool though. :D

Its not on as im saving up still for my forged rebuild - got all the bits just not the money for the labour costs.
Will be a custom dp going from the 3076 to the 3" c-one front pipe and then onto the 3" c-one system.
Was running with regular front pipe and aussie dp and it made the set up on the wifes 205 - aussie dp & blitz Nur spec R - sound tame by comparison so god knows what db level it will be

well i bet yours will be very loud then when its done!! :D

yeah i know what you mean with the money etc, i have a spare engine which i got off here and unfortunately its sat in my shed in a fully dissasembled state ready for a rebuild but i had a little kiddy born which put a stop to my forged buildings!

will be worth it in the end no doubt mate, my brothers is forged with a 3071 and its a total monster when running it on 2 bar boost. makes me want more powah!!!!! haha :)
