Hi !
just wondering witch cabel is for the speedlimit (japan import mr2 turbo gen3 -95)
It says "check engine " and when Im reading the error codes it´s says :

42 - SPD No "SPD" signal over 8 seconds driving Check Vehicle Speed Sensor, SLD (if fitted) and wiring.

I haven´t any SLD but its still goes over 180km/h
I had a box witch was checking 0-60mp/H times and so on before but it was gone before i got the car.

The check engine lights up after about 1 mile .

Can anybody here help me ?
Sorry for my bad English but I am from Sweden.
Hope you understand me!
/ Dennis

I'm guessing you are looking for the Speed Sensor wire from the back of the ECU.
You're talking MR2 so I'm guessing that 205 ECU Pin Out is not much use, but it's in this thread http://gt4dc.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2834
Speed Sensor wire = SP1 = As you look at the ECU from behind, it's the right hand plug, top row, third wire in from the left = Orange.
