Currently my local LIDL has a motoring equipment sale on. In amongst the usual junk is a rechargable LED inspection lamp that seems to be quite good for only £9. Okay it's not exactly like turning on the sun but it's bright enough for emergencies and might get you out of a nighttime breakdown. Also looks handy for your favorite motorsport camping event
