Just a quickie, can you get the bottom end rebuilt with forged bits and so on from underneath - ie. without having to take the head off?

Unfortunately the head has to come off to get the pistons out

You can replace bearings with the engine in though...

Not to worry, was going full chat on a super head job with the works and just didn't want to have to remove it all and replace again further down the line. Still, it's the price you pay, so I guess I'll just upgrade the fuel system sooner so I can run higher boost on the standard internals once properly mapped. That should keep me happy for a while
