After a lengthy wait I've finally got my Revolution Millenium wheels. They are fully tested and approved for motorsport use. Load rating is 690kg so very similar to the OZ and Speedline wheels used in the WRC.

Apart from the Revolution logo on one of the spokes the wheels are almost identical to those used in the tarmac rally events in 1994. They are machined from stock 'blanks' for the correct offset, centre bore and PCD. The only small niggle is the machining is done after the blanks are powder coated so some of the powder coating has 'lifted' in the wheel stud holes. Steel inserts are used to strengthen the wheel stud holes.

They balanced up well too with only minor adjustments having to be made. For the 18x8 size they cost £150 excl. VAT which isnt a bad price for custom competition wheels. I've fitted Toyo T1-R 235x40x18 tyres and the total weight comes to 23kg per wheel+tyre combo.

Thanks guys :)

Should also mention that the larger wheel/lower profile rubber make a big difference to the way the car steers. Its much more responsive and I'd highly recommend this mod.

In my case its the whole car! I've found using some polish or wax on the wheels helps.

There is some gloss coating on the Speedline rims i got, and brake and other dirt just hoses right off on mine.

Rene: I still think 18's are a little too big for our 5th Gens, but be interesting to see how it sits with those big trak adjusters :D (FAT ! :D )
